A new brand identity for a nonprofit organization that supports families of young organ transplant patients for a lifetime.
The Challenge
Since 1986, the Children’s Organ Transplant Association, or COTA, has assisted families of young transplant patients and is unified under the belief that no family of a child or young adult should bear the financial burden of a life-saving operation. With the combined efforts of members, the organization guides families and volunteers through every step of their organ transplant journeys.
The Solution
The new identity seeks to create a sense of belonging by showing how love and support are built with others who rally under the same mission. The main logo is a combination of symbols that represent members within the organization. These symbols are a combination of a heart and sprout, signifying love and growth, and the binary colors are a representation of the nature of organ transplantation.
